Over-Reaching at Mid-Life: How to Stay Patient in Restless Times

Below is my guest appearance on the popular blog ThoughtLeaders, it also appeared on SmartBrief on Leadership. I wrote on one of my favorite topics, navigating the middle passage of life.

Mid-life offers a rich time of growth and insight and can pose challenges. In this article I talk about why some high-performing executives “reach” outside their values, core competency and financial capacity and how to avoid the temptation. Patience is a good quality to cultivate for certain times in our lives.
