Tools for the Journey: A Daily Meditation and a Daily Checklist

Don’t underestimate the cumulative effects of stress caused by uncertainty and loss of connection…this COVID stuff is getting old and unfortunately, we have a long way to go.

During stressful periods it’s important to move energy around. Give this 5-minute guided meditation/visualization a try…it will help you free up the clogged spaces in your head, heart and spirit. Maybe you’ll get hooked and do it every day.

Not only is this good for overwhelm, anxiety, boredom, and/or low energy, it’s a practical energetic grounding process to use to start and end any day.

Notice I don’t mention about open or closed eyes, either work.

If meditation is not your thing you or you need another daily practice, you might like these 5 questions that serve as a simple checklist and reminder to feed your soul and maintain your well-being at all key levels. Review this at the end of the day in a journal or at dinner with your family and stick at it every day for the next 30 days.

  1. What am I GRATEFUL for?
  2. Who am I CHECKING IN ON or CONNECTING WITH?
  3. What am I LETTING GO OF?
  4. How am I GETTING OUTSIDE?
  5. How am I MOVING MY BODY?

Peace,

Brian
